Last Futures
Digital Communication Strategy

Last Futures is a student-led collaboration between the Glasgow School of Art, University of Glasgow, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra that includes an exhibition, a large performance, workshops, and performance art activations.

WRNS Studio
Interviews

As part of an ongoing passive recruiting strategy, I created an interview series spotlighting members of the studio. Pieces include intern mentorship, international travel (featured here), architectural licensure, and more. Shared across social, these pieces leveraged staff networks, built culture, and provided prospective employees with a peek into the studio. I took custom photos for each piece.

LaunchSquad
#WomenInTechStories

I helped some of LaunchSquad's Boston leadership (some amazing women-in-tech themselves) craft this story campaign to help build buzz around a women in tech event in 2015. I helped develop a storytelling strategy, social distribution, and managed the editorial calendar.

LaunchSquad
Website Redesign Project Manager

I led the website revamp at LaunchSquad, serving as project manager for their site redesign and a new site for their sister company, Original9 Media. I worked closely with internal stakeholders, SEO consultants, and designers to arrive at a branded message and site that was optimized to grow LaunchSquad and Orginal9's digital audiences.

LaunchSquad
Recruiting and Award Submission Video

I worked with LaunchSquad's video team and firm leadership to produce this video about the firm. Initially created to earn our 2015 nomination for PR Week's Mid-Sized Firm of the Year award, the video was adapted to serve as a recruiting piece. It was also one of my first forays into voice acting!

WRNS Studio
Firehouse Clinics

I co-authored this piece on an incredibly important pro-bono project at WRNS. If you haven't heard of healthcare deserts, you need to read this one. The project was recently featured in “By the People: Designing a Better America,” on view through February 26, 2017 in New York City at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.

WRNS Studio
#BehindtheStudio Instagram Series

This series took cues from Humans of New York, sharing the faces and stories behind WRNS Studio's buildings.

WRNS Studio / AIA SF & The Center for Architecture + Design
Resilent Studio / Resilient City

I co-created this 400-attendee event in celebration of AIA San Francisco and the Center for Architecture + Design's Architecture and the City Festival. We transformed WRNS Studio’s headquarters into a series of interactive exhibits and a Pecha Kucha presentation focused on resiliency and design. San Franciscan locals and artists, UC Berkeley, Academy of Art University, CCA Architecture Division, Equity by Design, BAYA, Knoll San Francisco, and the Museum of Craft and Design partnered with us to explore resilience in our city and the design profession.

Museum of Craft and Design
Social Media

I worked with the Museum of Craft and Design's Communications Team to craft a social media presence that supports ongoing program offerings and grow their online presence. By creating a steady stream of diverse content, I helped increase follower counts and engagement.

Equity by Design
#EQxMD3 Behind the Scenes Series

To build buzz for Equity by Design's 4th Symposium, I thought up this blog campaign with the Equity by Design core team to share behind the scenes stories from Breakout Session Facilitators. In these teaser pieces, each Facilitator shared how they crafted their session and what they learned along the way.

WRNS Studio
Website Redesign Project Manager

I served as project manager for this website redesign, co-writing and scrubbing all content and collaborating with design and engineering consultants as well as internal stakeholders to evolve the WRNS brand and authentically tell their story.

Key Events / David Kerr
Copyediting

Designer David Kerr brought me on as a copywriter for this 2015 WebAward-winning website redesign. I helped Key Events present their various offerings in a clear, concise way.

Forell / Elsesser Engineers
Website Redesign Project Manager & Copywriter

I lead rebranding efforts on this site design, creating a custom storytelling Q&A format to represent the engineering problem-solving that characterizes Forell's approach. I wrote most project and website pages at the time of the launch like this one and this one, for example. Work included extensive competitor analysis and internal stakeholder engagement.
